Our ASLs are introduced to the Mahere Tupu or our action plan. They are shared into the current initiatives for the year and given an overview of who our people are involved in ACCoS. The role of our champions is explained and who our professional coach is. Our new ASLs also cover feedback as part of our Professional Growth Cycle.
The second session covers our systems for across school communication and sharing of what we do. This time is also to ensure that the ASL is able to access all tools and documents easily.
Our Co-leads bring in a recently appointed ASL to share her or his learning with the new appointee and this allows the Co-leads to note if anything of importance might have been missed.
Finally the new appointee has the opportunity to meet the ASL leads of initiatives that they will be part of. In this case it was Te Ao Māori.
